This older wood jewelry cabinet was sourced from an antique dealer in New York after spending quite some time tucked away on a shelf.
I sanded and refinished the exterior in a deep mahogany tone, hand painted the four drawer fronts in a muted aged olive, and added eight molded and hand-painted ornamental medallions finished with bronze-style knobs.
I chose to preserve the original mirror and cream velvet lining rather than replace them. The lining has been carefully cleaned but still shows evidence of its previous life.
Three removable drawers offer open and divided storage, with additional storage beneath the hinged mirrored top.
Condition: This is a used, older piece and is not in new condition. It retains scratches, marks, imperfections and signs of previous use, including an old interior repair. The original velvet lining shows discoloration and wear. Please review all photographs carefully for condition before purchasing.
