I transformed a traditional wooden artist mannequin into this one-of-a-kind autumn figure, inspired by the rich colors and textures of the season.
Her cascading skirt was created by carefully joining individual autumn leaves into rows, buildinIg layer upon layer to create the full, flowing silhouette. I carried the same leaves upward to create the coordinating scarf around her neck. Rich velvet ribbon and a decorative headpiece complete her dramatic autumn look.
With shades of crimson, orange, gold and deep pink, she makes a beautiful statement displayed on a shelf, mantel, console or as part of an autumn vignette.
