The interior is decoupaged in \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003emy own custom botanical design, created specifically for my work and not sourced from commercially available decoupage paper.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e Tiny wildflowers, ferns and trailing greenery fill the inside in beautifully faded, earthy colors that complement the aged exterior.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eI kept the lid intentionally simple and completely flat. It leaves the box open to however you want to use it — for treasured letters and photographs, cards, keepsakes or everyday things you’d simply rather not have sitting out. It can also be used as a small riser in a collected tabletop or shelf display, with books, a lamp, a plant or another favorite piece placed on top.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe original pine construction remains visible, including the corner joinery, and the painted and aged finish has natural variations throughout.
